Masterclass tips

The time and date of your session will be arranged with you by the Career Academy Coordinator at the school or college.  Please make sure that you have all the information you need from your contact.

You may wish to consider the following:

• What do I want to deliver in the session?
• What will the students learn by the end of the session?
• Can I make this relevant to what the students are currently studying?
• How can I make the session interesting and interactive? Remember it's aimed at 16 to 19-year-olds!
• What will the students do? How will I be involved?
• What size is the class / group? How old are the students?
• What resources could I use?
• What facilities will I need? Eg, PowerPoint, overhead projector, DVD player.
• How will I include an opportunity for questions and answers?
• What and how many handouts should I take to the session?
